Toxic Toys Jingle

The United Steelworkers (USW) union has produced a video (featuring singing Steelworker kids) that symbolizes what the Stop Toxic Imports campaign is all about--protecting our children from dangerous imported products and fighting unfair trade laws that allow global corporations to cheat us out of good jobs.

Here are some nontoxic gift ideas.

The Union Shop Online has a great selection of books for children of all ages. Starting with Don Brown's classic tale, Kid Blink Beats the World, about a group of powerless kids who confront some of the world's most powerful adults—and win, to Peter J. Welling’s Joe Van der Katt and the Great Picket Fence, the children in your life can learn about the power of collective action.

We’ve got many, many more, including:

· Click, Clack, Moo by Doreen Cronin

· The Night Worker by Kate Banks

· Breaker: A Boy's Story of the 1902 Pennsylvania Coal Miners' Strike by N.A. Perez

· Legendary Labor Leaders by Thomas Streissguth

· ¡Sí, Se Puede! Yes, We Can! by Diana Cohn (Bilingual)
